About
In Monroe, Abby and I found that it is the same tacos and burritos in every restaurant we went into. Therefore, we decided that we wanted to open up a Mexican restaurant, but a restaurant would be too expensive to have. The second option that both of us came up with, is a food truck and we would name it El Taco Canyon. Abby decided that it would be great if we got out of our home town and go somewhere else. Since our truck has canyon in its name we would station it by the Grand Canyon.
When we got the truck and all the supplies, we sold our food in Monroe and a few other close cities to make extra gas money for the trip. After a few months, we said good-bye to are family and friends and we were off! We went through the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico. We sold our items at these states and we made up to $150 and we weren't even in Texas yet! The people loved us, we got a lot of compliments on our song that is to the tune of "All Star" by Smash Mouth, also a great hit was our prices and how we made some jumbo items. The customers also loved our homey feel with our tables and chairs, so they could set. We FINALLY got to the Grand Canyon and we settled down and that is where we are today.
